Product activation

On this web page you can activate your AeroFly AddOn’s or easyFly.

If your AeroFly or easyFly computer is not connected to the internet, you may as well use our web activation to activate your AeroFly Professional Deluxe AddOn’s or easyFly. Activation using the web method takes slightly more time and requires, that you have some knowledge on how to transfer a file from one computer to another. The following step-by-step guide explains the steps required to activate your product’s using the web activation method.

If for some reason the activation direct from within the AeroFly or easyFly program as well as the web activation fails, please contact the IKARUS Support for further help or send an email with your Product-Key and Serial number to activate (at) ikarus.net.

Step 1

Find your Product-Key

Your Product-Key is printed in the white box at the bottom of your product CD or DVD.

Have a look at the pictures to the right to see where the Product-Key for AeroFly Professional Deluxe AddOn 3 and easyFly 3 is located.

Your Product-Key has a total of 16 characters and is divided into 4 blocks of 4 characters each. The dash sign ‘-’ is not part of your Product-Key. Valid characters are the letters A to Z and the digits 0 to 9.

Step 2

Write down your AeroFly / easyFly Serial Number

Your AeroFly Professional Deluxe or easyFly Serial number is shown on the main menu.

It is 8 characters long and can contain the letters A to F and the digits 0 to 9. The picture on the right shows you where your Serial Number is located.

Step 3

Open the Web Activation Dialog

Click the following link to open the web activation dialog:

A new browser window will open.

 

Step 4

Download License File

In this new window, fill in your 16 character Product-Key and your 8 letter Serial-Number. Once you are finished click on the “Download License File” button. Your browser will then download a license file.

Note: Please do not rename this License File, especially do not change the extension .LIC to something else.

 

Step 5

Transfer License File to your AeroFly or easyFly computer

Copy the downloaded license file to a floppy disc or USB stick and transfer it to your AeroFly or easyFly computer. The license file needs to be copied to your AeroFly or easyFly directory. By default AeroFly and easyFly are located in the following directory:

“C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe”
“C:\Program Files\IPACS\easyFly”

This completes the activation via web interface. If you need to activate additional products, simply repeat the above steps with your remaining Product-Key’s.
