Aerofly FS 2 Paths
Installation Folder
The installation path (or installation folder) of the Aerofly FS 2 is usually defined in the Steam settings.
- Open the Steam software.
- Click on the “Library” tap at the top.
- Select the Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator from the list in the left column
- Right click on it and select “Properties”
- Switch to the tap “Local files” in the window that opens
- Click on the button “Browse local files…”
This will open the installation folder of the Aerofly FS 2 in a separate Windows Explorer window.
Creating Short-Cuts
Recommendation
To find this location without the need to open Steam a second time go one directory higher, so that you can see the “Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator” folder in the Windows Explorer, then either drag it to the left column of the Windows Explorer to add it into your “Favorites” or right-click on it and select “Send to” → “Desktop (create link)”.
Contents of the Installation Folder
The installation folder contains all libraries, executables, game-content like textures or models and shaders. The folder contains sub-folders like the aircraft and scenery folder for the default aircraft and sceneries. Custom made aircraft or scenery should not be installed to these folders, use the user-folder instead (see below).
