Approaching Sacramento in all planes that I have tried in manual or auto flight I get a sim crash in an iPad 10.5 pro. A member of the Facebook fan group reported it in an iPhone 6. Both devices were using iOS 10.3.3. There was no problem with similar sim' flights in Android beta FS 2 version 2.4.13. using a Google Pixel C tablet.
Sim crash at Sacramento

I have reported this a couple of times when the last iOS version was released so the devs are aware of this crashing issue but have never released a fix. This is my biggest issue with the state of the mobile version. The very least we should expect is a fix for such an issue while they focus on the desktop version. Don't hold your breath for a fix anytime soon!

The iOS updates seem more frequent recently, perhaps it will go away with the next one. I had been using Sacramento not too long ago but it might have been in Android.
I think the reason for completely ignoring mobile is to allow the lower performance devices to die from wear and battery old age. That will avoid hordes of angry users when a more demanding and possibly fixed update is issued at some point in the possibly distant future.

There haven't been any iOS updates since November last year! Where are you seeing these recent iOS updates?
-
iOS not FS 2. As in iOS10.3.3

Ah, apologies. Between this and the other thread I was hopeful the iOS beta had been resurrected. The crashing issues are unfortunately an AF2 thing so doubt iOS 11 will improve it any.

Apologies? No need for that, surely this is a big happy family .

All is well with my iPad 'at' Sacramento since the minor update. Thanks everyone in Tübingen!

Thank you. Actually it was just a rare crash, we just couldn't reproduce it on any of
our test devices. It seemed like we used a non square texture in Sacramento and thatcaused a crash on just a few specific devices.
