hmmmm. I only posted the one screenshot of the transmission power line and it is not copyrighted AFAIK. The others are simple thumbnails from google searches. Thumbnails returns from generic searches cannot be copyrighted AFAIK.
Which ones are giving you the gas?

Ray

Sorry. Just trying to err on the side of caution here.

I'm sure google thumbnail search returns do no fall into the protected copyrights but, in any case, I have removed the culprits. That is akin to copyrighting sunshine.

Hi guys
I'm new to this forum.
I'm loving Aerofly FS 2, and I want to try to add my own scenery. I'm starting with a small town in my country, Portugal.
This cultivation stuff seems great, and those tests by Trespassers just got me going.
But I'm stuck. Used scenProc to get the toc file from OpenStreetMaps, and it seems ok (compared to Rodeo's example). Then changed the tsc file from Rodeo's scenery, because you guys said we need a dummy airport, to reference my new toc file. Tried several things, but none seems to work, there is nothing showing up in the place...
Any tips, or examples, please?
Hi,
it's difficult to help without any data. If you attach your tsc, we could check it.
Rodeo
Ray, no churches? Railway stations? Bridges?
Basicly it needs a whole 3d-shop.com, thousands of objects and obstacles.

Oh, I totally agree, but I guess we have to crawl before we walk. I think of more items that I would like to see in a free objects library every day.
Just some of the most common things we see when flying could be a start. In my neighborhood that would include large water towers, big box stores and factories, school complexes, car dealerships, hotels, gas stations, and the ever present McDonalds golden arches.

Ray
Almdudler,
I have all those libraries from FS2002, FS9, and FSX saved just in case someone comes up with a method to convert them to a file structure that we can use in AF2. Instant Scenery was one of my favorite goto programs and I found just about any object I was seeking, including water parks, large resort hotels, high rise buildings, trains, shopping centers, large grocery stores, etc. but, we are just getting started with Aerofly FS2 and as a matter of fact, I added my very first runway and a bunch of hangars and buildings just today.
I hope to add some trees, shrubs, backyard swimming pools, and lighted houses with lighted streets very soon.
Regards,
Ray
you have to change the decimal comma to a decimal point.
Please check your TOC file as well for a decimal point.
I see, you didn't define an airport, but it may work so as well.
I can't test it right now, but I can tonight.
Regards
Rodeo
Oh, I didn't remember that. It's probably my Windows regional settings, they are set to Portuguese.
As for the airport, i just put some coordinates of the place where i want the cultivation to appear, since there is no airport in that area. I started to test there, because it is a small area, and it's where i was born
Now i'm at work, and have to wait until the end of the day to test, but then i will tell you how it went...
Thank you
Ray,
You said " I have all those libraries from FS2002, FS9, and FSX saved just in case someone comes up with a method to convert them to a file structure that we can use in AF2. "
The program to do that is Model Converter X available at fsdeveloper.com (from Arno, who also has modified Scenproc to handle converting OSM data to FS2 cultivation files).

Maybe down the road, I can't even figure out the basics of AC3d. How do you determine how to arrange a group of objects without a top down view of the area? I need some basic tutoring.

Ray
Bravo!!!!
Yes,
brilliant job!
