I found out where I went wrong. Sorry to bother and will continue with your tutorial

I unzipped the shortcuts.zip into a folder. Is there a certain location it needs to go? I followed the tutorial, when hit CTRl-ALT-SHIFT 1 nothing happens. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have Notepad + + open when I do this.

I don't know if anyone else has this issue. When I delete the node id and version lines using ctrl+alt+shift+2 the Lon/lat lines get deleted. I noticed in the tutorial that version="0" comes before the node I'd. In my .osc that I downloaded from open street maps it's the opposite, its node id then version. When I swap them around it works fine. Hope this makes sense

I never use OSC files ONLY OSM files in Scene proc.

it's the .osm file I'm talking about. When I download the file from open street map the file extension is .osm, for some reason the file on the computer has the extension .osc
Does my previous post make any sense

Update to original post the Lon/Lat lines get deleted the 2nd time I do ctrl+alt+shift+2

Are you SAVING or EXPORTING. If you make a change to openstreetmap data, it will create a OSC file, FOR Open Street Change. I will look at the tutorial again, because What I do is make the change, save it, the EXPORT it outside the editor.
-
If I'm following the tutorial correctly. I make changes I want, click save in open street map. The lower left corner there's a Download OSMchange File link, I click it, save it, then open the with the editor. The file is changes.osc

My tutorial might be wrong, It is best to actually save the changes, exit the editor then EXPORT.
