    Hi Ipacs team,

Thank you for the improvements to the C172 in the latest update.

We can now use mixture and I also noticed the magnetos cause rpm drop. This sounds really promising

    Best, Sylvain

The c172 and jungmeister have engines that can be turned off and back on in the public release now.

And the C172 has working mixture!

Also the King Air is now not overspeeding the props anymore on the ground,

Of course more improvements will come but I feel this is a good start yes?

Now if they would give the same treatment to the Pitts with the working mags, mixture, and canopy open/closing!

Where is the new 172? Is it the one that has an upload date of Nov 15?

Or are we talking about the stock 172? Oops?

The stock C172 after the last update.

    Yes, so I see!

The mixture impacts the RPM, but it still doesn't do what it does in a real plane. If you climb to 5000' you still get maximum RPM with the mixture set all the way in. In real life the RPM would be highest with a lower mixture setting.

    But still, it's progress!

Love that announcement! Thanks for this upgrade.

It's been a while since I played. Can the C172 brakes now hold the plane at higher RPMs (as during an engine runup)?

Yes that has been the case for quite some time now.
