For a while I was playing Aerofly fs2 on my iPad Pro 10.5 with a controller and it was awesome. Ever since a recent update, the controller has no longer been working under Aerofly fs2. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck there. Any ideas? Controller works fine in other games on my iPad.
Controllers not working on iPad?

What controller was that? Did you have manual trim?, I do not like the in-sim automatic trim with manual throttle, the plane never feels right whenever power is temporarilly changed.

Me too, waiting for Update

I've been using the Steelseries Nimbus controller. Works pretty great for the game, just really wish it worked in Aerofly fs2 again!

Manual trim?

Is trim even available on the iPad version? I guess it would be via the touchscreen, but I believe I was using the automatic trim if anything.

Any update here? App is useless until it supports controllers again...

Will we ever get an update to fix this? It was working great before.
-
Maybe in 2019? Don't want to raise hope.

I think that this problem is worthy of a reply from the devs. I bought a steel series nimbus controller at the cost of £45 when I learnt that the mobile version was specifically listed as being compatible. Believe me, it was a very worthwhile experience compared to the usual methods of mobile control. I can’t believe that the removal or suspension of this functionality is anything but an oversight. Please can we have it back?

Just for further clarity, the nimbus is an Mfi compatible device that works with my iPad Air 2 superbly via a Bluetooth link. It previously worked perfectly with the mobile version of Aerofly fs2. Since the upgrade late last year, when the nimbus is switched on, some of the screen controls that normally appear in AF2 disappear but the actual controls on the nimbus no longer work. This suggests that AF2 recognises when the nimbus is connected but can longer reflect the control inputs. I may be wrong but this issue suggests a problem with the App. Incidentally when it worked, the mobile version on the iPad connected to a TV and using the wireless nimbus provided a very credible casual sim experience as an alternative to firing up the full desktop sim.

As the forum is regularly monitored by the developers including for the mobile version, I think it is fairly safe to assume that this issue which several users have identified has been added to the list for further consideration. In the meantime I remain a great fan of the mobile app. ( when I am not using the PC version!)

Same here... Really looking for an update on this one.
