Small typo in "Introduction to the GeoConvert tool"

    Hi Jeff,

    I found a small mistake in the wiki: the doc says AIC file while the readme.txt included in the SDK says AID file, the later being correct.

    Quick question: is the time needed to convert orthophotos to texture related to the GPU power?

    AIC was used back when the tutorial was written. Since then it has changed that's why the difference.

    As for the time related to geoconvert. That is based on a few variables; how large of an area are you converting, the amount of available system resources at the time of conversion, and the amount of system memory you have.

    In recent updates the processing speed of the geoconvert tool was reduced to fix a tool crashing problem that many have seen in older versions.
