I pulled in early this morning and who did I see on the ramp? Jay was there in the Cessna 172 Mod. You never know who you are going to run into at these high end airports. I offered to buy him a coffee but he said he had to run, something about helping build a new Carbon Cub for AF2. Anyone heard anything about this new airplane for AF2?

It's not showing up in the Steam Store for me, I clicked on the link for find more DLC in Store, searched ORBX and found a ton of material but not this latest one and when I did a search using the word Monterey it didn't show. Any tips on where I might find it? Thanks.
Monterey not already on steam. Only on Orbx store actually here and you can install it with FTX central (easy to use).

Amazing how rumors spread so qiuckly. Find the thread by Jay where Jan gives his thoughts on a new airplane for AF2. I didn’t actually check Jan’s C172 mod but, if anyone is flying it, that would be Jan.

Working on it as we speak. Actually I did get Monterey via Steam, through I don't know if it is available to the public yet. Looks pretty good to me through, probably just a Steam thing again...
Can only afford one at the moment. So Monterey or Meigs Field. Toughy, Meigs looks big but there's nothing near it. Monterey looks pretty small but I can fly to other areas from there. What do you think?

I guess you have to buy it from Orbx using FTX Central.
Excellent scenery!. A joy to fly.
A small bug, is that the control tower positioning is wrong (you can notice it from the tower view). I went to mygeoposition.com and reset the correct coordinates for the control tower in the respective .tsc file.
Good work by ORBX and very reasonnable price.

With the sale prices it is almost like 2 for 1 for a few days (45% off for each one).
I wrote the review of Meigs for FSX Steam and I have both Meigs and Monterey Orbx versions for FSX/P3D. If I could only have one, it would be Monterey, but, that is just me. With cultivation available now almost everywhere, I would think Monterey is actually bigger than the expanded Chicago Meigs. The airport itself is far superior and practical at Monterey and the close-in golf courses, Cannery, bay, race track all favor Monterey.
No bad decision, as long as you get one.

Great Expansion and Performance is great too in VR.
It was a pleasant surprise to see this out so soon and included in the sale, very good value at that price, bought and paid and sent off to Santa. Looks really nice on the videos.
