Today's update had work related to how input controls interact with Aerofly's input system. In doing this you may need to reconfigure your controller(s) again as this update may erase your control bindings.

After significant changes to the control input handling we sometimes have to start with a fresh configuration. This is the only this way we can make sure that all new features are set up correctly. If we were to use your current settings it could introduce a lot of bugs and you may not be able to control your aircraft as you were before due to internal changes.

We apologize in advance if you have to reassign your controls but this is a critical step at this point.

Is this update related to the Oculus controller features that you are hard at work on?

No, we will be releasing the VR Hands update soon but this has nothing to do with it.

Anything else in the pipeline to be released soon? It has been over two months since the previous update.

    Hi Jeff

what exactly has changed with this update?

I was hoping that it would be related to use of toggle switches or potentiomener "fix" for panel/instrument lights but I quickly checked the options and see no difference.

    Thanks, Jay

There wasn't anything physical that you would see any difference with. The only change was that the system now supports two 'identical' joysticks which previously didn't work. Other than that nothing that you would see as different or new.

    ok then, thanks..

Well talking about this subject, would you please point someone responsible for this part of code, toward my question in Dev. section?

Question about general FFB devices and ASF2

    Thanks

What exactly are you looking to do?. A lot of the internal processes we have are protected and copyrighted.

Thanks for posting this - coincidentally I had updated GeForce drivers in a vain attempt to get sound back into video clips.

Most annoying, and when I found all my control assignments gone I was ready to throw the 1080 away!
