Northeastern DLC at Aerosoft.

  • Hello,

I've been flying the DVD version since January 1, 2018. At the same time I have been visiting these forums. At age 60, I have been with flight simulation from the beginning until now.

I am astounded with AFS2! The scenery, smoothness, and aircraft are breathtaking. I am not a study level aircraft fan, thus the aircraft are appropriate for me with just the right amount of systems management. I'd like to see some regional airliners added, for example Embraer 135/170 etc. I know others love study level aircraft and don't want them denied, but please consider releasing non study level variants on any future aircraft releases out of IPACS as well as study level.

I also discovered that Northeastern DLC is available for download for DVD users at Aerosoft, https://www.aerosoft.com/en/blog/detail…logArticle/1226.

I am looking forward to Colorado, and hoping to see it soon at Aerosoft too!

Thank you so much IPACS for creating this beautifully performing, visually stunning, and user friendly flight simulator! :)

  • Aerosoft is currently preparing a dedicated Aerofly page. Please be a little bit more patient. A few free DLCs are already available here:

    Fantastic news!

Thank you for your quick answer.

I hope the developers community will grow quickly. Many development tools are similar to those used to create add-ons for X-Plane and FlightGear. This should encourage talented creators to join us. I think I will try to adapt one of the models I created for X-Plane.

    Congratulations for your amazing work!

When I link to the quoted link I see what appears to be a download for the Colorado DLC in two parts which I so much want, but when I click on Part 1, I receive the following...

NoSuchKeyThe specified key does not exist.aerofly/AS_COLORADO-USA_AEROFLYFS2_PART-1.zip41AF179B21DD9FE4pY61UkBDm3Q679+VfIX0Fi/G1TuSv1PoRNPnmPQ9w29ndXEYLiQtHhzQduhUAwJHRsRSeFQn+go=

I get a similar message when clicking on part 2.

Does this mean the Colorado DLC for DVD is about to become available? Am I doing something wrong? Any help/answers will be much appreciated.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello

The "Colorado" Failure downloading the Aerosoft-Files is solved. But it's not possible to install wether Colorado nor High Texture Files, because the installer says: can't find the Aerofly Installation. Please install from DVD again....

Other Users experienced the same problem.

I'm intending to buy Northeastern and Switzerland, but to avoid any bad surprises I wait for a solution for the "Aerosoft" installers.

  • For downloading issues, please contact Aerosoft directly. Also note, Aerosoft is currently in the process of finalizing the website, so we recommend to be a bit more patient.

The Installer itself should work properly if you have installed the DVD version with the same Windows user and if you have not manually moved the installed files to a new folder.
