I purchased the RC7 sim specifically for the F3A grid feature to practice IMAC, but can't find the option to turn it on anywhere in the menus. The manual describes the feature but doesn't explain how to turn it on. Has anyone with RC7 used this feature?
How is F3A Grid Activated in RC7?

This should be in the drop down menu at the top of the screen, second drop down menu from the right if I remember correctly. And then its somewhere in that list, pretty sure.

That turns on the orientation (dome-like) grid, not the linear F3A grid. The manual says "Aerofly RC 7 offers with its 4D sceneries ... In many
scenarios, you can also activate special features such as an orientation grid, F3A-grid or the position display." But it doesn't explain what scenarios. And by "scenario" are they referring to sceneries or something else?

Thank you! So it is a conditional menu item. Thanks for finding the right field!

Well, I just opened RC7 and that option isn't on my Extras menu. The virtual grid is not an F3A grid and is useless for pattern or IMAC practice.

Do you have the latest update of the RC 7 installed? What version are you using (ultimate?)?
-
I updated to the latest version, 7.4.11, as soon as the installation finished. "Show position guide" doesn't appear in any of my menus.

Is there another RC7 other than Professional? That's what I bought.

I just now found the Compare tab and see the F3A grid is not available in Professional, only the Ultimate edition. A user with the older Professional version told me that the F3A grid was in that version, but it must have been removed with the current version. Very confusing!
