It looks like an Oculus problem. See https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comme…untime_service/

I was just getting ready to post this myself. Arrrrgh!
How could they be that silly? Do you prefer incredibly careless to silly? I am trying to be nice.

Changing system time and stopping and restarting the OVRService did not work for me but the "Restart Oculus" option on the Settings > Beta page of the client got things back to normal.

How do you reach that page? Pardon my ignorance.

I couldn't get anything to launch so can't get to settings > beta. Still if lots of people are affected the solution should come out pretty quickly.

In the Oculus client app the options down the left hand side are
...
Library
Devices
Settings
In the settings page Beta is the right most "tab"
cheers

My client app isn't launching

After a reboot the client app launched but would not display anything in the headset.
Even on a full device setup.
Which was when I resorted to "restarting".

I'm not sure about everyone else but changing my system time is an absolute last resort for me. So much depends on this: system restores, backup schedules, time stamps on files... not risking it.
-
And P3D will not run with the system date set to anything other than the current correct date. I'm sure other programs will rebel as well.

Finally Oculus acknowledge the problem
-
It shows that even the best and brightest can make really simple mistakes.

Oculus will post a fix for this as soon as they can.
It is not advisable to roll back the system time as this could do more bad than good to your system.
If you are going to post suggestions that could do damage to someone else's system I don't want to see this on our forums.
