Oculus won't start? Official solution

The good news is that oculus has solved the problem. The bad news is that it won't apply automatically as the broken code blocks their auto update process that would've allowed them to release the fix!

Edit: They've just emailed the solution to everyone and are giving a $15 store credit as an apology. Costly mistake!
