  • Thank you so much Phil! This has motivated me to dive deeper into the conventions for understanding the scenery creation/placement process.

Windows 7 (64-Bit), Asus Sabertooth (Intel Z87) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0, Intel 4th Gen Core i7 4770K (4.5GHz Overclock) Quad Core, Cooling Antec 920 Dual Stage CPU Liquid Cooling,16GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM 1866MHz, 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan, GDDR5, PCIe, 950 Watt PC Power & Cooling MK II.

  • Hmm. They didn't display. I must have screwed up something! They can be downloaded but they don't show up as images in the body of the text.

    Help?

    Oldar,

Why not just use the default Screenshot key, F12, and have full screen images to upload?

    Regards,

That's great feedback and part of my/our hope for this application.

  • Haha! Computers can sometimes be so stupidly frustrating. When trying to login on fscloudport.com it tells me No Such User. This IPACS ID is not recognised

And this is the same ID I am using on this forum right now. Oh well...there are things more important in life, like leaving to pick my daughter and grand-daughter at the airport.

  • If the runways overlap one of them is not displayed. It can still be used, but it won't have graphics, only the ground scenery.

To complement a bit, there is an explanation on the download window of FSCloudPort ("how to change which runway are excluded", in grey) on how to edit the TSC file of your airport to make the runway of your preference to appear, in case you prefer for example the 11-29 instead of the other. But, as indicated by Oldar, both rumways will not appear at the same time.

    Cheers, Ed

  • BTW Maxime, keep up the good work! I love your airports.

Agreed, plus we really need more good French airports.

    Kind regards, Michael

i'll second that Maxime , France is filling with airports very nicely. You're one of the top contributors now.

  • Phil,

If you have a spare minute, ha, please see if you can figure out what is happening with the vertical lines from the surface to space when FSCP generates an airport anyplace in Northern Norway. Seems like slightly North of Bergen every airport is surrounded by these weird looking solid vertical lines, kinda like a broken wall.

I deleted all my scenery in that area, then deleted all the airports, then brought them back one by one to isolate the source. I redowloaded the airports, but the vertical lines were still present and only in that area.

  • I think there may be little or no elevation data up there for our airports to be grounded on. I made Kirkenes and got the same result. I would really love it if we could get all of Norway with good elevation data. Norway and Italy are where I daydream about owning my own charter airline lol.

Maybe TomSimMuc can make us a useable elevation with his source information. The sample area he made for me for the Bergen area works like a charm.
