XREF library objects that don't show off

  • Not true, as we said many times before: A new mobile version doesn't mean we abandoned the desktop version. They go hand in hand and we're already looking forward to pushing out that next big update! :)

Regarding the other things, we're quite busy with our next big features. If we go quiet it is because we're hard at work. :)

Glad to hear that, I hope you’ll make me lie fast.

  • This XFEF release has a ton of liveries for the 737, now includes the B777, has the 3 updated repaints for the Lear55, has the A380, the DC-3, E-190, and some MD-80s. Some new liveries for the A320/321. Nice. Thanks IPACS.

I don't know enough about the buildings to recognize any changes, but, there are probably some.

Maybe someone will build a test airport and display all the XREF object with titles so we can see what is really in the package. 8o:/:S

More new statics: P-3 Navy Orion, SH-70 Coast Guard Chopper, several B737-800 - 700s and several cargo liveries across the board - DHL added to UPS and FedEx. Nice. Thanks.

  • Here is a download for our XREF library. Keep in mind however, we might remove or rename some of the objects in the future, because as mentioned before the XREF system itself is undergoing some changes. The Switzerland XREF is not part of this due to the mentioned changes.

Wow this is a nice XRef update list! Soo many new things! Thanks IPACS! Now I'm scared to use them if the system might remove or change some of the objects.

  • merci Michael,

    Hello admin,

Thank you for publishing the extended XREF list. They contain very interesting new objects.

I tried to use the passenger bridges with the current beta 2.04.07.55 (20191121).

However passenger bridges do not appear.

The Floodlights however are visible. I am using the code below.

Do we need a newer beta to show up those objects?

    Cheers, Thomas

  • @TomSimMuc: Passenger bridges are a little special because they are assembled from many parts to allow various combinations. At this point they cannot be set by using the cultivation files because you need to apply other transformations to those objects than are available in the cultivation file. Our designers use 3D modelling software to do this, we need to check and see what we can do to make them usable in cultivation files, we might have to add some 'presets' to make it feasable for this purpose.

  • Thank you for your answer. Yes I tried to assemble them with a x,y,z, angle offset to relatively position them to each other.

But as non of them got visible as a single item, I thought of a bug.

Nice, that you will offer some typical combinations to use as an xref object.

    Cheers, Thomas
