Wow, I LOVE this set ....to me it looks very convincing, especially the first one; THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! Hopefully IPACS will bring about a better weather engine in close future...
All the best.

Wie wäre es, das Ding hier mal langsam rauszuhauen, anstatt nur rumzulabern?!
-
Early Access wäre ganz prima ...

What a piece of art! Wish there be a set of HD ortho textures as future update. It really deserves it.

Very remote part of the world. Not much incentive for HD images now that Russia is not a constant threat.

EIN JAHR geht das jetzt schon so!!!

I'm sure a lot of time and effort has gone into making this beautiful scenery, to all those involved - THANK YOU.
Michael.
Yes. Sascha is one of those having been dedicated to AeroflyFS for quite some time now. We should be very happy he is, even more as he is one of the very gifted developers.
While this isn't a region I probably would be interested in (I suffer from acrophobia), I will certainly get it just because of its sheer beauty.
Kind regards, Michael

Wow, very consistent and the music matches very well to the cultural background to one of the most astonishing regions on our beautiful planet.
What suprises me regularly about Aerofly: To me pictures in motion in AFS2 (like Sasa's great video, or on my own srcreen) look even better than its screenshots of corresponding areas.
In certain other flight-simulators its quite the opposite: Screenshots often look better compared to the actual sim experience, not to mention about their performance....

The praise for this video should go to Jeroen who does a great job at making FS videos:

I believe that this one was even his first Aerofly FS2 video ever!
Bests,
Sascha

Are the helipads modeled in VNLK?

If you're referring to the lower apron about 2/3 way up the runway, yes, of course. With all terrain features, walls, stairs, vegetation, fences and buildings around it.
There are a few newer temporary gravel pads on a field nearby that have been done just recently. But I assume those are only temporary pads until the new helicopter apron has been build, which is scheduled for this or next year (Nepal is one of those countries where I don't believe it before I see it - like Germany :)).

Wow, thank you !!! Seeing all these details in close view, I really wish AFS2 could have an avatar like in P3D for exploring all this on ground, really....
-
You can activate the view of an avatar with CTRL + F8.
You navigate with left mousekey pressed and W, S
Return to the planes position with R
Return to normal view with 1 and then P

Thats what I have been looking for. Can you use the rift controller?

The avatar (aka Developer Camera) only works in 2D mode.

This scenery looks like the kind you would want to step out of the plane for awhile and look around at all the detailed areas. Might want to even add some natural outdoor background music
