As the title says, I would really like to fly this plane, but every time I do there's an alarm I can find the cause of. Anyone know how to stop it/them please?
How can I stop the Q400 Alarm/ warnings?

When does this happen? While being parked, during takeoff, during flight, during approach?

There are plenty of warning that happen in the Q400, best way to avoid it is just to fly it by the book. Here is our wiki tutorial which explains a lot of the warnings you hear: https://www.aerofly.com/dokuwiki/doku.…raft:dash8-q400
Short version:
takeoff: flaps not extended or steering tiller not neutral,
in flight: beta horn (power levers need to stay above flight idle), gear warning (extend gear), overspeed (fly slower), stall (fly faster), autopilot disengage (take manual control, check why if failed, e.g. too slow, too fast), long high pitch beep: autopilot altitude alert (get ready to reduce or advance power levers)
shut down: master warning and caution

Thanks very much for the info..It happens even if I start flight mid-air and couldn't see any warning lights etc. I'll read up as per the wiki link and try again.

maybe he WANTS to fly it sideways and just wants to know where the switch is that turns off the sirens...personally I don't mind them as it drowns out the passengers screams of terror and twisting metal
