Just wanted to do my first complete flight in AFS2 above TEN and just before approach (after a 30 nm or so flight) I got this during a scenery load (stutter). Never ever had this before. Anyone else had this? What could be the cause? Overload of the GPU maybe? I have an GTX 1080 and have all graphic settings full right. I also use Vulkan and the new AA option.

That´s the same with me

Can you confirm that this only happens with the Vulkan shader?

Could be the vulkan renderer. Go back to open gl.

I will try OGL but it's a huge shame to lose the improved AA... I already noticed reloading the plane fixes this problem so I might do that for now.

This appears to be a vulkan renderer problem. First try running the same scenario in OGL to see if you get the same result.
There were a few others that mentioned that they actually crashed and their logs all showed the crash being related to vulkan.
If this is the case, please be patient as this will need to be worked out with us and Orbx devs.

Yep, I get a lock up using Vulkan with the TE Netherlands but seems to run OK when switching to OGL. Same here, I hate to lose the advanced AA because the shimmering and moving lines come right back with the switch to OGL. As Jeff says, it can probably be fixed.

Ray

I'm doing OK with Vulkan in NLTE, though I haven't enabled advanced AA

Well, maybe it has to do with AA then...! I didn't have any crashes yet so as I said I will keep on using Vulkan + AA and simply reload the airplane whenever this happens again. I really don't want to give up on the improved AA!
