frui,
Could you please tell us about your PC hardware? How many cores at what Ghz, how much RAM at what clock speed and timing, and of course, which video card. What resolution and FOV will you try?
Is the 8kX actually a different HMD with just higher resolution video support (2 x 3840x2160) or does it actually have a higher resolution display? Does it need two HDMI 1.4 cables or is there some magic (I think - Brainwarp??) to take the left eye, then the right eye over a single HDMI 1.4 cable and then make it work.

Only 3 days to go.

Intel 4790K@4.2G, 32gb, RAM timing and clock unknown, Nvidia GTX 1080, all settings of Aerofly FS 2 maxed out.

Thanks! I've just finished watching MRTV's review as well

You are welcome.
Actually my review is more written with Aerofly FS 2 users in mind.
FS2 is the only flight sim that can run relatively smooth on Pimax now. Well maybe RTX 2080TI can change that.
I do have Oculus and Vive, but they have both been packed up. I don't have time to do more tests now, nor do I think it's necessary. Pimax M2 is in a different league, especially the 5K+ version.
Also I have given all the parameters of the tests, so it's easy to reproduce the same scene with different headsets.
i just read your review frui. Many thanks indeed. Could i possibly ask for similar screenshots for your Rift/Vive? I'd love to see how the C172s radio stack compares or the main instruments for the Baron.

That Pimax website is hosed. Can't get through at all.

same here, I opened the link , and just left it open to hopefully see a loaded webpage for later viewing .. but no result, just a blank webpage loading
BTW (my browser is: Google chrome) -
I have uploaded the test pictures. Maybe it’s faster download now: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1RAjIR_ihpV-alG9MbSfiIA

Thanks frui!
Guys, VR 2.0 arrived!
I will tell them to send me the 5k+ not 8k, performance is key
Here is another in-depth review from voodoo.de in german with english subtitles.

Here you are: http://forum.pimaxvr.com/t/5k-…-and-virtual-desktop/8249
Because of the slow connections, I reposted this at another site where hopefully load times are much quicker. Hope you don't mind! https://www.avsim.com/forums/t…cars-and-virtual-desktop/
Also Frui, are you using the Orbx version of the Netherlands, or the Steam release? Because the Steam release may have some framerate issues unless you allow it to update to the latest version.

Looks like 5K Plus is the better of the two!

Thank you for reposting. There is a wrong picture. FS2 8K-3X has been reposted as FS2 5K-3X. Please change it.
I am using the Orbx version.

The same guy really likes StarVr one more though.....when it eventually comes out. ( sounds great)
