For those of us using simple twist grip joystick and throttle configurations, I was just wondering if the collective will be configured as reverse throttle (my preferred option), or at least if there is an option to set it up that way? Forgive my eagerness, once this thing comes out I'll be too impatient to go fumbling around in settings trying to figure it out for myself.

You will be able to assign the collective to your liking. There will be a separate helicopter category in the control settings to assign heli collective, cyclic, throttle and others.

The R22 is in final testing so if (IF) everything we find gets worked out you may see it within the next couple of weeks. I'll try to capture a couple of screenshots and post them here shortly.

Pictures...Yes! Video clips even better. Thank you for your diligence to want to get it as right as possible the first time!

I'm looking forward to it and fingers crossed there is no "IF" 🙃

Great, thanks for your answers and your pictures drhotwing1, with R22 we are going to be able to discover the most detailed scenes another way (Fort Jeferson is a very good example)
I read on HeliSimmer that you would propose two flight models for R22, one simplified and an other one more "simulation", It is always in project ?
-
Wow! Fantastic modeling, it looks A+, I have no doubt it will be a treat to fly.

Yes there will be two modes. The R22 is already flying very nice, we just have a couple of small things to tune up. Marc and Jan are two of the main guys that have been working on this for a while, aiming towards perfection. Everyone is going to be very pleased when we release this. It's a joy to fly and yes it brings much detail to the forefront.
