With most of us getting somewhat comfortable with FSET and AutoScenery and ScenPro with ready-made templates and streetlights, towers, and other data from OpenStreetMaps and nationwide building footprints we have a timely need for some “filler”.
I’m thinking that it would be nice if we had a handful of downtown or central business districts with high and low rise buildings with another handful of sports stadiums and domes to make each city center unique. An example would be New Orleans with the tall buildings at the river’s edge with the Mercedes Superdome in the middle of downtown. Or maybe Atlanta, Orlando, Memphis, Houston, Chicago, etc.
It could be that we are still one release away from the killer program that generates 3D graphics from a Google map or something similar.

This could be a simple, yeah sure, program from a creative graphics artist and introduced as payware by a 3rd party to kick start a bunch of us novices into expanding the neo dlc areas to our own backyards or home states.
I would pay for something like this with a few drag and drop graphic items like, various sized parking lots, both low and high resolution, schools, bus barns, shopping centers, golf courses, casinos, strip centers with tall signs, large box stand-alone stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot, Bass Pro Shops, Walmart complexes with gas station, shoe stores, burger joints and parking lots ready to twist, turn, and drop into our backyards, or just down the road.
Maybe a selection of community water towers, cell phone and TV towers, power generating stations, and a couple of nuclear power plant cooling towers with steam flowing. The list just lies on and on.
A follow up release could be airport related with a slew of static airplanes, terminals, hangars, signage, etc. a few animated ramp rats might be a hit.
Just day dreaming, as I wait for a helicopter.

Ray
