always wanted one, perhaps now I can

Maybe krzysk can create a shuttle aircraft next...

The top one is a Ford Tri-Motor and the bottom on is maybe a Zlin Z-50 , but what is the one in the middle? A Caudron Simoun?

In that case, how about a Carbon Cub with outback tires?

I still would love to see the Carbon Cub in Aerofly. Maybe Jay can send someone else the files to continue the project so that we don't have to start from scratch...

It would be for me in AF2 the absolute bush plane, perfect for Switzerland DLC or Colorado DLC.... like many other here, I would be ready to pay to help some talented plane designer....

Weeeeelllll in that case . . . . lets all gang up on our newest developer, krzysk. and suggest a Carbon Cub be added to his already extensive list of planes. Or, maybe our Submarine Spitfire developer, Donny, might be interested in a simpler project to use as a learning curve or something to do on a rainy weekend, or maybe as Jan suggested we urge Jay to pass his work over to someone like Argivo who developed the Do27 without a single request for assistance, or maybe pass the work over to Kai503 as a follow-on project once the Buecker 181 Bestmann is complete.

Thanks adak47, this has some great back country video. I hate to get all worked up thinking about how much fun a Carbon Cub would be in AFS2 after the letdown of the last abrupt ending of our only other startup.

I keep drifting off dreaming about the user community being able to do some of those things in that video. Can you imagine what Kai503 could do with all the support we could give him, especially with Jan just waiting in the wings to add his tmd magic. Oh my. dirfting off againnnnn.

Ray
You know, Kai already know how to work with yellow.

My dream for IPACS Switzerland DLC glacier landing ....
My dream is to land on top of the buildings at Zurich Airport again, like I used to do in Aerofly FS 1:

But you can see that krzysk's Cub Special is a nimble handling aircraft, and a joy to fly. That is why I don't just land on building tops in the video, but do a visual tour of all the landmarks in this scenery as well -- concluding with IPACS Aviation!

Yeah, right..
Ray, I can give you now already the guarantee that the next plane will NOT be yellow (at least not the prototype). I have seen enough yellow textures for the next 10 years
(What doesn't mean that the Piper Cub in general wouldn't be on the "considering-list"..)Kai

Thanks Kai, good sport.
OK gang, here is our opening to try to sway Kai over to the Carbon Cub camp. If we get a paint kit with the plane we can still have yellow, but, heck I would gladly take ANY color. If we gonna have a Cub, we might as well push for the best and newest with options for skis, floats, oversized tires plus the plain ole standard stuff. ha,

Never thought that there are such weirdos out there who are doing the same "crazy-things" I like to do most of the time in my flight sims .
Again: VERY inspiring, thank you so much,

We are everywhere! LOL
I can't wait until this gets modeled in FS 2...
P.S. BTW -- that isn't me flying the Carbon Cub. I just found the video doing a search.

After watching this video I'm wondering: Why do we design so many runways, taxiways and ramps??? I'll immediately stop developing airports!

Don’t forget that we don’t have water, yet. Sand bars maybe, but no ripples and no splashes. 😕😬

We may be counting our chickens before they hatch. Planning or selecting the second plane before either has released their first one might be overreaching a bit.
But, the thoughts of having a Carbon Cub in the backwoods and mountains is almost irresistible.

Although I think the Cub is great, I'm not voting for it, because I think we need a more powerful bush plane with a turbine engine (no, I'm not talking about "Draco" here) to fly in the hopefully soon to be released Lukla scenery.
That aircraft is of course the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter . As a plus, it doesn't need to be yellow .

Martin
