An honest to goodnes Piper Cub flying in AFS2 plus

I was welcomed to my inbox this morning with a bunch of new aircraft being readied for AFS2. Two of my favorites are the Piper Cub Special which is practically ready for intro into the AFS2 skies and an equally gorgeous '52 Cessna 170b. The C170b has some work remaining but the exterior is one of those that you see in the rw photos. It will have the '52 bright red early Cessna round panel with bone colored knobs and closed yokes with soft light tan leather seats . Given a little time this should be a real classic - 145 hp Continental with metal wings and 40 deg flaps. Looks like it will be radio and nav equipped. Today it bucks like a bronco but it just needs a little lovin' care and a few tmd adjustments.

Here are a few snapshots of the Cub near Sion and the C170b in South Florida. More to come.

Ray I think you have two "la croix de coeur" installed, because there is normaly only two planes on parking, and not the last released with vegetation

Yes drassaud, you are probably correct. So many things going on at once. Nice mountain airports though.

Lots of green areas in the nearby valley for cub landing areas. Yes, it looks like a flood of new planes just around the corner. The C170b has already received some attention, just today. I have a lot of high hopes for this one. Maybe we will be seeing some IPACS water someday soon. Sure would be fun to splash around the waters edge with the c170b with tundra tires and floats.
