Where is the main.mcf file located

I decided to uninstall/reinstall Aerofly after no reponse to my earlier thread. The main.mcf file isn’t in the documents/aerofly fs2 folder and it’s not in the steam/common/Aerofly fs 2 flight simulator folder. Does anyone know where the main.mcf is located?

The main.mcf file is located in your documents\Aerofly FS2 root folder. The same folder that you will see the gc-map.mcf and the TM log.

If you delete the main.mcf file Aerofly will make a new one upon restart.

If this doesn't happen, it's definitely something on your side. I would begin by insuring that you don't have some odd security set to your documents folder, and also make sure that your antivirus didn't flag it for some reason.

There isn’t a TM Log either, I will check into your suggestions.

Do you have Aerofly installed as a different user on your computer?

I found the problem, the antivirus program wasn’t allowing Aerofly to write to the documents folder. Fixed it, everything works now
