I haven't forgotten. In fact I have begun working on it. I just had a lot of other things on my plate but getting back into both the tutorial and an update to 1.0 shortly.

It hasn't been cancelled. I'm just working on other stuff at the moment.

I noticed a lot of 'drunk drivers' down in the Florida Keys recently (due to one of our recent updates) so I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm actively working on an update to fix that. It's not really bad but I'm still correcting it.

I am also beginning work on the next bigger update of my 'Aerofly Life' project, and also a tutorial for anyone that would like to try to make their own vehicle animations. The way that Aerofly currently handles animations causes for this project to be much more difficult than it should be but I'm making it work.

I'm hopeful that down the road a bit this will change

Anyway, expect a smaller 'fix' update shortly followed by a bigger feature update; and the tutorial somewhere in between

I hope that you are enjoying seeing some life in Aerofly and I'll do my best to improve upon it in the future.

The streets are all a part of the scenery package orthos that is installed. There are no overlays on roads in Aerofly at this time

None of us like the painted cars and tree shadows on the roads but I haven't figured out a way to easily remove them without adding an overlay. And I won't add an overlay as it takes a lot away from realism.

Just a quick message about the upcoming 'Aerofly Life' project update (version 1.5). I wanted to hint at what to expect.

* aligned the traffic to the roads better

* added night lighting (headlights/tail lights, etc.) to all vehicles

* added airport vehicle life with night lighting and reflections

* added more vehicles to certain roads to better simulate the real-world location

And if I can get it finished up soon you might even see an aircraft or two flying around, and maybe even doing some touch and go's

This project is a lot of work so please be patient. I will also be adding a tutorial on how this is all done soon!
