Aerofly Life Project - Version 1.7 NOW AVAILABLE !

  • Hello this is a video of me converting traffic animation for Aerofly fs2 I have figured it out but had problems with the textures and it wouldn't show in the sim. but all I did was give it a path in 3ds max and then exported it but now I'm stuck . I will find a way of doing it but think it must be something to do with the textures or I'm doing it rong.I will figure it out lol.

  • brunnobellic,

    Hallo

It looks like you still need to copy a file to the Scenery folder.

There are two animation files in the working folder: truck.tma.txt and truck.tma

Just copy a file the .tma file from the working folder to the export folder c: \ users \ your name \ documents \ aerofly fs 2 \ scenery \ places \ truck \

    greetings

  • Thanks a lot I will take a look and redo a new test :)

  • or South Florida Life

Try disabling (moving out of the sim the whole miami_traffic folder, from its current location in your system) the KMIA traffic, and you won't see those cars buildings anymore. Seems to be a conflict with the Miami traffic, not the complete South Florida Traffic package.

I'll check those flying trees. Haven't seen them before, but probably I have them too.

    Cheers, Ed

  • This strange formation of cars, with the shape of a building, appears twice in Miami Intl. KMIA after installing the traffic files for this airport. When I delete the traffic files for KMIA, the formations disappear. I am the only one?.

Something to be investigated drhotwing1 (IPACS)

    Cheers, Ed

Lol. Yes, It's just alignment posts for KMIA. It wasn't supposed to be in the release

I'll update it with that removed. Thank you for pointing it out.

Having done more than several whole scenery’s and scenery objects in Gmax (yeah, I know, ima ol’ fart) FSX,P3D and X-Plane, it sure does look like an object that has been bound to the wrong texture.

Beyond that, I don’t believe that an object that tall would be so close to a runway, so not only is the texture off, but the placement of the object itself is off in my estimation. I would love to be proven wrong.

I intentionally put those there to align the Miami area with my traffic. I just forgot to take it out before releasing the new version. I have already taken these out for the next update

  • Hi Jeff,

I was wondering if it's possible to add collision to the Coast Guard ship? Mainly for landing the R22 onto the rear landing pad?

I've never seen anything land on that vessel in Key West in the 30+ years that i've been going down there :) But, I'll see what can be done
