Exciting news.
My credit card is ready.
Indeed, great news. Hoping for their C152!
Good to hear that.
This is certainly very good news for AFS2 fans. I hope it happens.
Regards,
Ray
Oh my! A Piper! My dreams are coming true! Seriously hope it comes with deep systems! Hopefully the Duchess will give us the answer to that question! But I might buy this one even without deep systems! A Piper!
OMG !!!!
One of my favourite GA-birds coming to AFS2. I can feel the thrill of anticipation already .
Thank's a lot for this brilliant news.
Single makes me even happier than a twin!

I would expect the systems depth of the JF Duchess and JF Turbo Arrow to be pretty much the same for AFS2. Just 2 engines to monitor on one and only one on the other, with an extra switch for the turbo.

This is fantastic news. If I remember right, didn't the FS version of the Turbo Arrow have both the straight tail and the T-Tail? It would be great if they could offer the same with AFS2!

They had a package with the Arrow III and IV, if I remember correctly. The one for AFS2 is the IV Turbo with the T tail.

I never flew the T-Tail Arrows in real life, but I have a lot of time in both the straight tail Lance and the T-Tail Lance, which are just bigger, heavier Cherokees. The T-Tail always seemed to run out of pitch authority in the flair when flying with a forward CG, but was fine with a more centralized or aft CG. THe T-Tail also needed more trim attention with power changes. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the virtual one flied in AFS2
I had hoped to see a basic GPS modeled in the Just Flight aircraft, but the Screenshots suggest that the built in GNS 530 is just a frame around the standard Aerofly moving map. Let's see what other systems are modeled realistically.

That's on us, because we have not yet made is possible to program custom displays. (If developers read this, we can make it work, just contact us directly)

That would be great. I don't even expect a full blown representation of a real life GNS unit, something like the default GPS in fsx would be sufficient as a start. The moving map looks a little arcady for my taste and somewhat out of place given that the rest of the cockpit interiors are very detailed and realistic.

That is one of the things that we cannot really change at this time. We would have to define water areas and draw the database airways, airspaces, etc. which is not yet possible.

Bummer... I was hoping Just Flight would have found a way to get more things done (like developers can do in P3D by working around the system). Hopefully they can 'make it work' somehow anyway. As I posted before I am dying for some more system depth in AFS2 (even in rather basic aircrafts like the Duchess and Arrow).
They didn't hack our code to add displays, so how would they have found a way.
And don't get me wrong, we already have a huge navigation database with airways, airspaces, etc. we just have not gathered that data to be loaded in aerofly, but that is not really hard, just takes time away from other projects, you know the deal.
We will see if we can help JustFlight to make an interactive and working navigation device. We can't promise you anything at this time but I'll at least look into it, see if it is feasible.

Go for it! JF need to release an aircraft which has distinctive and significant improvements on everything else that comes standard with FS2. That way everyone will want to buy it and they'll have a success on their hands which we all want.
