Bonjour,

There is no autogen. There is cultivation in Aerofly. And a lot of threads on this topic here.
Look also for scenProc.
If you know it's called cultivation, the Wiki has a bit of info on how to do it.
https://www.aerofly.com/dokuwiki/doku.…%5D=cultivation
It's a bit hidden and not in the TOC, but I once took that video as a start. Today, some clever people developed much more advanced scripts, some of them can be found on the forum, as flightxtreme states.
Kind regards, Michael
The area I live in has zero OSM data of vegetation. Luckily there is a wonderful way to create large amounts of trees using only images.
Scroll down till you see Ian C comment on how to create Photo Detect Trees
Should you attempt this
Once you obtain your BMP file from FSET, I go the extra mile and outline all areas I do not want any trees. (this isn't necessary but I am very picky about unwanted trees in fields or roads.
I recommend kenventions Histogram settings to obtain over 700k trees.
Result:
These are the scripts I use PhotoDetect Scripts.zip
There might be other forums on this but I can't remember because it's been soo long.
Cultivation the simple way part one.
Cultivation the simple way part two
These tutorials should get you up and running.
A thousand times thank you .. I have something to do it's great!
Is there a way to erase the stupid trees all over Sion, for instance over the rail tracks?
Merci à tous for your help me
I have a problem here are the pictures. I hope this will help you help me?
Here's what I did: I downloaded on openstreetmap the scene where I want to place 'cultivation' (thanks martin :-))
I retrieved the file brest.osm which I renamed map.osm.
I am stuck and I do not know what to do.
Merci à vous.
Cordialement
Hi Christy,
It seems that your installed "ScenProc" cannot open your "map.osm" folder.
To keep your installation simple like mine can you install "ScenProc" onto your "C drive" in a new folder call it "Cultivation for FS 2" as the picture below shows.
In this new folder it has to contain "ScenProc" and the scripts as the picture below plus your "map.osm" folder to work.
Hope this helps?
Kindest regards, Michael.
it does not say 'cannot find', it says 'cannot open'. Hence I guess something with the file is wrong (too big?).
That looks like a very big area you downloaded to convert to cultivation. If you followed my tutorial it is MOST important to limit the download to no more than 20 MB using the web site provider http://www.bbbike.org
Merci Michael,
I'm really confused, sorry to say that I spent my day-night on this problem, without succeeding completely.
I reread your 2 tutorials and I did step by step, but there is a small problem I explain:
below observe scenprog to finish after 35 sec '. But I did not find anything in the Autogen Landivisiau file. only file map.toc
But or scenprog has placed the files of autogen
Do not be angry with me .. would not you have forgotten (this can happen when you do a tutorial) an elementwhich makes me unsuccessful ?
I even read the manual scenprog, which is more suitable for FSX / P3D, than AFS2!and I'm reading this
2) Visual C++ 2008 SP1 I can not install it on W10, which refuses it. on the other hand I have several VC of 2010 and 2012 installed.
all this makes me crazy!
Christy,
Did you think drassaud, maybe he could give you some extra help regarding your autogen.
Cheers
Tomfa
The "map.toc" is correct. You then have to rename it as per my tutorial example of "Kladow", your file name will be different as an example "france.toc"
The Win 10 issue you need to take this up with the author of ScenProc.
I'm using Windows 7.
Found this: https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/windows-10.434839/
Sorry I am unable to help you further.
Kindest regards, Michael.
merci Mickael,
Yes I ended up understanding that, and I posted the problem on FSdevelopper
.
Hope you can get it sorted out in Windows 10?
