As our admin mentioned over in the mobile forum... Yes there is a much larger flying region coming to the mobile version.

That 2020 thread is in this PC section, just in case people are looking for it. (Jeff has it closed down now (as well as a 777 related thread in the mobile section)).

OMG the 777 elevator trim is contaminated with Airbus! Just got the iOS app store working and tried the 777 and I thought it was poke the Aerofly CoPilot in the eyes time again but no it is auto-trim in a Boeing,

    the horror,

the horror. I looked it up and it is the way it is.

    What do you mean?

The B777 (IRL) has a fly by wire which uses a similar control law in pitch like the A320... The A320 has C* which is load factor and pitch rate combined and the B777 has C*U which is the load factor, pitch rate and airspeed (flies towards the trimmed airspeed). This is noticeable in form of a turn coordination (pulls elevator for you)

But there is a disconnect switch in the overhead if you want full manual control ;)

    Regards,

    Jan

Thanks Jan, I tried the post MAX centre pedestal electric trim disconnects which clicked and opened but didn't seem to do much else. I’ll try the 777 overhead switches but the equivalent 3 in the 320 didn’t seem to cure that Airbus.

The 777 doesn’t seem that bad in manual flying once the auto-trim dead flesh feel has been anticipated.

I don't really understand the problem that you're having. Is the trim not working correctly for you?

You can also disable the auto-trim done by the copilot in the in the Aerofly FS 2020 control settings. But don't blame us when you run out of elevator authority when the aircraft is mis-trimmed.

The fly by wire systems are designed to reduced work load for the pilots and reduced undesired effects such as pitch up from engine thrust changes or configuration changes like flaps or spoiler extension. We simulate these systems to provide a realistic simulation of the real world aircraft.

    Jan

What’s taking so long for the 777 to be released? I thought it would come out like last week since mobile got it already. You guys should keep us updated on the progress/delay. I am getting anxious.

We are finishing up testing to insure everything is working properly before releasing it. We will get it released very soon!
