No question about it. The third party enthusiast developers are now keeping the interest in AFS2 going. And before the moderator is tempted to shoot me down for that comment, this is what has always happened in the flight simulation hobby. It happened with the Microsoft series, it is happening with X-plane. And now it is happening with Aerofly. It is a good thing for the hobbyist.
Excellent news that there will be more support for the third party developers. That is a Christmas present in itself. On "shooting in the foot"... I walked into that (pun intended). However, if you would private message me I will discuss it with you.
Very nice made but I have trouble with the groundcolor, one half is brownish and the other half is greenish and looks unnatural.
Is it a colormismatch between 2 nextlying tiles from Google or Bing?
We hope to support all those freeware developers more, with upcoming updates.
I think maybe the change in ground colour is due to different sources and seasons? Also I got the blocky thing in the sky when I got to Valparaiso. Not really much of a whinge as the scenery is fantastic and I loved flying over those Andes.
So with that said, why has there been such a reluctance to offer support to 3rd party Aircraft developers?
