What is the tm.log error?

Hi
I have tried the Starfighter, all liveries, and have no problems with it. Did you download the new TMD files to correct the update from IPACS that broke the TMD files.
https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…-compatability/
If so, you need to copy these to the starfighter folder and then copy one of these TMD files, anyone will do, to the main starfighter root, this will then update the base TMD which is not updated when you apply the beta fixes above. This should then stop the C172 from loading and your good to go

I have the same problem with the GeeBee

Hi,
Followed the instructions, replaced file as described, still defaults to Cessna 172. Tried different TMDs, all give same result.
No tm.log file generated
Any ideas please?
Many thanks

No tm.log file generated
The tm.log is always generated when aerofly runs.
You can find it at C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Aerofly FS 2\tm.log

Hi Jan, found it
Found a random tm.log in another aircraft directory, that was what confused me
Attached the TM file but the pertinent bit is below:

It looks like you're still using a quite old version of the starfighter.
The changes made to the F18 HUD were added in the summer 2019 I think. The starfighter uses the same hud...
The starfighter.tmd has to be edited to remove the "texture_animation_hud" parameters for "SourcePosition", "SourceSize" and "SourceScale".
I thought this was already updated some time ago?

Many thanks for your help, thought I'd grabbed the latest version and updated it it.
I'll have a check and get back to you if problems persist
Kind regards

Just seen this post..up to date Starfighter TMD fiiles have all been edited as Jan suspected, I just downloaded them and checked.
If you are still having the default Cessna load you are using the wrong files, they need to be from the above download and you must copy one of those over to the main directory as this one will not have been adjusted, to do that I would have had to re-upload the complete Starfighter.

I would have had to re-upload the complete Starfighter
Steve, as several persons struggled in the past, maybe this would be a good idea, then delete all old versions.
-
Will look into it over the weekend

New files posted
https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…files-included/
There is nothing new to the Starfighter just the files have been updated so no looking here there and everywhere.

The copilot lands the plane short of the runways in several landings, however it flies great and I hand fly the landings as I find the copilot/autopilot only good for cross country fling in most all models
