These shots are taken from ASF2 and yes I am lucky to have access to the current beta version (hence the preview watermark to avoid confusion).
Whilst this scenery is not finalized yet I, it's already very impressive and smooth as butter with Vulkan!
A very realistic scenery, for sure worth the money!
It's beautiful, and like everything else for FS 2 I will buy it. The problem is that it will be an island paradise in the middle of soup. I have made my own Europe photo scenery, so it will be OK for me, but for the average buyer it still will be problematical. I think that is one of the reasons FS 2 scenery sells so poorly. Unlike areas for other sims there isn't enough for it to blend into.
That blending is a problem indeed. Would be nice already if the surrounding area had a bit higher resolution textures with the same coloring. It will be awful flying near the border of this region now... (which is cleverly (almost) kept out of sight on all these screenshot). Maybe something for a freeware developer...? 
Or does this addon come with basic surrounding textures?!

Yes bear in mind this type of very detailed scenery is essentially for VFR flying so the aera covered here is quite sizeable already.

I honestly would love for you guys to include even just one of the major airports to make it a suitable venue for the airliners. This would really add to the value of the purchase imho and would go great with the likes of Orbx NL.

If you know France VFR's range of products, Paris IDF is the smallest region covered by their VFR 3D automation technology. If this "demonstrator" scenery sells ok, maybe we can expect they roll out Haute Normandie or Basse Normandie to extent the coverage to the west and then they playground will be much bigger! But let's see first how this one is welcomed by the simmers as you know that Orbx was also willing to adapt TrueEarth GB to AFS2 but they finally decided to pull out the plug to focus on Xplane...

We sure would love having a much wider playground, but we needed a start point and Ile-de-France region is by far the highest density and complexity you can face in France, so when the technology works here it will easily work for any further French region, if successful...
We had first to prove the concept.
Anyway, with some 24'000 square km of HR photo I think you may afford flying a long final without fearing the sight of soup

I sincerely hope this will sell well giving hope to more regions to follow. All the France VFR regions I have for Prepar3d (quite a lot) look absolutely great.

FlightXtreme published photosceneries of entire Europe at least in levels 9-11.
