NEW Falke SF-25 (for Aerofly FS 2) Currently on sale on Just Flight

  • The Propair Falke SF-25 is a true virtual copy of the famous German touring motor glider Scheibe SF-25.

    The package contains three variants:

SF-25B - simplest aircraft with Limbach 1700A engine

SF-25C - two main gear set-up with stronger Limbach 2000A engine

SF-25E - foldable long-wing version with better soaring capability

The package also contains three detailed scenarios, with custom objects, communication and ATC to help familiarise you with the aircraft and how is it used in the real-world environment:

Traffic pattern scenario - visit the home of the Falke, Heubach airport in Germany

Soaring scenario - switch off the engine and travel with the help of the rising air in southern Poland

Alps scenario - take the Falke for a winter flight in the Austrian Alps!

    Best wishes 😉

  • Glad to see JustFlight are still in the AFS2 camp. A bit surprised at the choice, I thought their Robin would have been next. - Kenneth

This model is already very good, but I would imperatively on my list a Pilatus PC-6;)

  • In many decades of flying, the SF25 was by far the worst aircraft I've ever flown and like all Scheibe aircraft, it becomes even worse in rain.

Looking at the quality of the external model and its errors I'm surprised that it isn't freeware and it isn't excactly cheap either!

  • I'm interested in how these three detailed scenarios will be presented?? Considering 3/3 locations are not part of current default or add on scenery.

    This all sounds very interesting!

  • Not sure about the three scenarios. JF have been known to re-use the existing documentation from other sim versions before modifying it for the limitations of AFS2. And please note, unlike the four JF aircraft we already have, this one is not apparently made by their internal design team.

So, given that fact, a critical word to the designing company Propair. Please put a pilot in the AFS2 version. There is no excuse in this day and age for any flight sim manufacturer to produce a model with an empty cockpit in flight. That is going back to the Stone Age in FlightSim terms! It makes a model look incomplete, and it does nothing for a company’s image or credibility.

  • Still, I prefer, by far, the example of Milviz, however also give them the chance to other designers like Propair and see their evolution ;)

    Best wishes 😉

  • In case! A part of the planes that Just Flight offers in their catalogs, come in part from Milviz, just suffice to covert them for AFS2. I have already made a personal request for the PC-6 which had been made by Milviz for FSX and P3D among other things.:)

  • Hm, at the Moment I'm not very amused about this Falke:

    1) When I reduce the thrust/Propeller, the sound changes only by reducing the sound-volume...

    2) When I set the Falke on a starting Point, it's often not clear for taking off and the air brakes can not be moved - only when I repeat starting the FS2.

    3) For my opinion the controll is to sluggish. But I'm not sure in this point, wether the real Falke is similar.

    4) There are no sceneries, which have been promised bei just flight… :/
