    Hi All,

Downloaded some Liverpool scenery last night, for some strange reason no install instructions (this seems to be common with Aerofly freeware developers)

Can someone explain exactly where to place this scenery? Downloaded from the same person who puts out this stuff https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…by-iz0jub-2019/

Anyone know why he puts all that effort in, then doesn't bother to include instructions? We are not all experts with the Aerofly folder structure..

    Cheers

I just downloaded the file and I see in it a file called "Instructions.txt" - by the way, this is standard at @IZ0JUB, which does a lot of volunteer work for the community:

In the file "Instructions.txt" there is also a suggestion for the location.

There are also some posts in the forum with recommendations for saving the instructions - there are just different possibilities.

Thank you for your help. The scenery I downloaded is a few gigs, it is called 'Liverpool' I managed to get the airport working by googling instructions, the separate liverpool scenery has 4 folders 'e21' - 'e22' etc.

I tried putting them in scenery/places folder. Perhaps I should try the cultivation folder? No instructions mate, even a few lines would have been helpful.

    Thanks again!

The subfolders go under scenery/images folder.
There are a lot of instructions available online but perhaps the author simply forgot after spending many hours creating and sharing free scenery for the masses. I see from an earlier post though that instructions were provided.

Perhaps a big thanks to the author for providing the scenery in the first place is in order.

    Look sharper, there is a instruction of the download site: "Put the four Folder ( e21, e22, e29, e30 ) in your: Documents/ Aerofly FS2/ addons/ scenery/ England/ Images."

    https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…and-remastered/

These special Liverpool scenery is from me and not from Iz0Jub. But attention: One from this four files needs a update. There is a Level missing and you will get popups in this area.

And: This is only photoscenery whitout cultivation or another 3D-Models!

Aaaand: If you choose my photoscenery, don't forget to delete the other Iz0Jub-photoscenery in this area!

Crashing my PC on loc intercept to Liverpool,

Now what causes the crash, Schnuffelduffels Liverpool or IZ0JUB's?

Does it happen with Steves Liverpool airport?

I think you should not give up that soon.

And what payware will you use for Great Britain for AFS2 and that fluently in VR?!

    Cheers, Thomas

We have no payware for the UK. That is the reason why we do it ourselves. But I would be interested in what crashed there? :/

Would be interested to see if Vulkan is being used for rendering. I have had a crashing issue with custom scenery when using Vulkan.
