Presenting AF2, VR and Homecockpit at the Bavarian Flight Day

    The Bavarian flight day ist the yearly conference of the Bavarian aerosport assosiation and I got invited to present my Homecockpit together with VR... and of cause Aerofly FS 2. I had all kind of sim installed but aerofly was rocking the day without starting anything else.

    Especially my custom scenery for Bavaria was impressive, because all pilots could fly at their home base.

    - Flightpath recording on hard drive and replay in sim from different view points

    - Smoke for aerobatic planes

    - Multiplayer or at least watching other people flying sitting on ground or inside tower

    I love watching people's reactions in VR, it's a great feeling. I noticed a few people in the video were super impressed. One thing I've always noticed even when letting my friends and family fly in VR, is that some people forget to look around and only keep their head looking straight ^^ I usually have to remind them that they can look all over. Strange phenomenon!

    Yes ...it is ...but when they realize it ... they are moving and moving :)
    AND they dont want to leave the VR ... when there are 2 kids ... .they starting a war !

    Soviel Tutorial kann ich da gar nicht machen...

    Ich nutze OBS Studio, das kann inzwischen auch Vulcan.

    Vorher StreamlapsOBS zusätzlich, da geht das starten des Streamens auf z.B. Twitch noch einfacher, da funktioniert das dann aber wohl mit Vulcan derzeit nicht.

    Da kannst du Szenen erzeugen, ordnest denen verschiedene Quellen zu und kannst dort Größe, Position, Transparenz, Green-Box-Effekt und dergleichen beeinflussen. (Ich habe dann tatsächlich grüne Tücher aufgehängt. Aber ein einfarbiger Hintergrund geht auch, den Farbkey kann man einstellen.)

    Gerade mit Aerofly ist es eigentlich sehr simpel, XP und P3D muss man zusätzlich über den Oculus Mirror gehen, wobei der bei mir momentan immer wieder einfriert.

    The guy who fly the real Extra Aircraft was great. He got sick quiet fast. :D :D :D

    So schlimm ist das echt nicht. *lach* Man muss auch nicht streamen und kann "nur" das Video aufnehmen.
