Having exactly the same problem. Wierd thing is that if I start the game using steamVR, Vulkan works just fine...
Same here. Plus, in Vulcan I get only black screenshots.
So...
Steam VR mode, Vulcan and OpenGL -> Works fine
Oculus VR mode, OpenGL -> Works fine
Oculus VR mode, Vulcan -> Fine on the screen, but black headset
Non VR, Vulcan -> Works fine, but black screenshots.
Specs:
i7-6700K @ 4.00 Ghz
16 GB Ram
GTX 1070, latest drivers
Oculus CV1

same here… black screen in my Oculus rift CV1.When I use Oculus mode by steam with vulcan.

Martin , what Kind of last up date you mean ? Last up date from steam vr, graphic Driver or IPACS ?My last IPACS built: 2.04.09.25 (20200331)
hope it will be fix soonest.
Vulcan in VR , it is my best choice.

the problem is the newest Nvidea Driver 445,75
I fixed it by rolling back to Nvidea Driver 442,59. Everything works well now.

Same problem, how do you roll back to the last driver version?
go google, type in for example 442,59 then you go directly Driver home page, or go into Driver download an select all Drivers, find out the last 3 or 5 Releases for your grapical Card, for me it was the 442,59 .

Be aware: Also the latest 445.87 version does NOT work in VR!
