I don't think so. Full price except for the occasional sale price.

Jetjockey 10 That's a pity. Is it straightforward to copy the F-18 HUD and paste it into another plane? I used to copy the F-18 HUD in FSX into the FSX default Cessna. I wonder if it can be done in Aerofly?
I already have the Hawk in XP11; I would buy the Aerofly version if it were "navalised". But, no point buying a new aircraft just for the paint.
Tregarth.

It is way too early to tell for sure, but, I don't expect the AFS2 version to retain many the features in the XP11 or P3D version. We know for sure the TacPack will not work in the AFS2 version. I doubt most of the popup selections will work either. I could be wrong. We shall see.

Those are FSX type copy and paste. None of that stuff works in AFS2.

You can copy paste the HUD from the F18 into another aircraft, yes. Has been done with the starfighter I believe.
With the latest version of the F18 you can also render the HUD onto a regular monitor that is not transparent.

The JF Hawk Adv 1/A for the other sims comes with a HUD, just not a Navy Carrier landing enhanced version like the T-45C has.

Good News T1/A Hawk fans. The Hawk T/1A Advanced beta 2 is up and flying in AFS2 this morning and looking outstanding for early beta. I took her up for a quick look and was thoroughly impressed. This is one small step in the right direction for recovery from the pandemic. Let's all hope the recovery continues and we can get back to some sort of normalcy.
Several new liveries are in the box and exciting new goodies hanging under the wings.

Brilliant. Is it easier to start than the DCS version - I always find that a fun challenge to start from C&D

I don't have the DCS for comparison, but, the previous beta version wasn't developed enough for full evaluation of a cold start. This is one speedy little bullet though. Requires full attention for full flap landings with an inaccurate speed tape. You don't want to get behind the power curve, which is quite easy to do at this stage. Fun to fly for sure.

A little spupid question, is there a pilot on this model? Referring somewhat to the SF F-25
-
If not, I’m fairly confident there will be. The other sim models had pilots. I will check.

The crew even pose for photo shoots.
Yes this photo is taken for X-Plane 11
-
The icon panel for AFS2 has the buttons for show/hide each pilot figure. It just doesn't work yet in the early beta.

I was wondering what happens to the texture of Aerofly in this picture.
