Wow, Norway scenery sure has come a long ways since we tried to look at Bergen a couple of years ago. Looking great.

Thanks, Schnuffelduffel.
Otherwise, I have received some information about the upcoming area South Norway_17 Stavanger - which might be of interest:
(ENZV on the right).
The Battle of Hafrsfjord was a great naval battle fought in Hafrsfjord sometime between 872 and 900 that resulted in the unification of Norway, later known as the Kingdom of Norway. After the battle, the victorious Viking chief Harald Fairhair proclaimed himself the first king of the Norwegians, merging several petty kingdoms under a single monarch for the first time.
Kjerag 1,110-metre is a tall mountain (3,640 ft) close to the end of the Lysefjord. Its northern side is a massive cliff, plunging 984 metres (3,228 ft) almost straight down to fjord, a sight which attracts many visitors each year. Kjerag has become a popular BASE jumping destination. Until 2016, a total number of 48,668 jumps have been registered. During this time period there has been registered 131 accidents. (Wikipedia).

Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock) is a tourist attraction in Norway. Preikestolen is a steep cliff which rises 604 metres (1,982 ft) above the Lysefjorden. Atop the cliff, there is an almost flat top of approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 ft × 82 ft). BASE jumpers often leap from the cliff.
The authorities have opted not to install fencing or other safety devices as they felt it would detract from the site and the fact that fatalities at the site are extremely rare, despite having approximately 350 000 visitors in 2019. It is a policy from Norwegian authorities that "we cannot fence in all nature in this country". (Wikipedia).

To the left, they have dug out a past village from the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. A place with over 250 houses several thousand years ago.
The mountain in front is called Uburen/Uburfjell (meaning = carry out/push out).
In ancient times, a place they threw children and others that the family could not take care of.

My biggest "ortho challenge" so far. But now - South Norway_17 Stavanger is ready for download.
I can now fly over my house! Thank you so very much, Hartman
-
This is a real big projekt! Don't give up

thanks for all your work on this beautiful country.
This is the current version. Just unpack the directory 'hafrsfjord_swords' to the norway places directory.
The swords are 50% bigger than the original to make them clearly visible.

Hi Thuster.
It's vacation time - and I have put down the pace. But I haven't given up - so far.
I am now working on a larger area where bad ortho involves more work/time consuming (I have to use ortho from multiple sources). Then the question again arises: What is good enough?
-
Could you imagine a world where perfect orthos existed and you never had to edit them?

Could you imagine a world where perfect orthos existed and you never had to edit them?
Yes.
As you can see - I have a really big imagination.

Any idea when or if you will include Hamar / Stafsberg? I'm a Norwegian in Australia, and I'm feeling homesick;-)
