Aerofly para Notebook

  • Yes, I'm using a simple notebook with an AMD A12 APU and Radeon RX540. Excellent frames with Vulkan but sometimes it crashs.
Good frames running OpenGL but the movement is a little flickered. My laptop uses just one 8gb RAM memory (single channel).

I believe a laptop with i5 or Ryzen, 8gb dual-channel and any dedicated AMD card better than RX540 or Geforce MX230 will works fine.

  • Hi Peter, If you are still looking, I just bought an HP Pavilion AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with 8gb of Ram. It has integrated Vega graphics with an NVidia 1050 GFx with 3GB of ram. I am getting 75 or so FPS with Vulkan. I know this was a low end purchase but it works for me.

Hi thanks I was looking for a cheap some indicated me but very expensive. thank you I will look into this. If It run very well that's perfect:)

  • I run FS2 on an Acer Aspire 5 Pro business laptop (Intel i7-8550U quad-core 1.8 GHz, 8GB RAM, Nvidia MX150_0 with 2GB VRAM, HDD, no SDD). I get 30+ fps on High graphics quality in most areas, including the default scenery, Switzerland and the Orbx Eagle Regional and Innsbruck DLCs, flying GA aircraft like the PA-28R. To get best performance, tune the graphics card settings, close other applications and set the Windows process priority for FS2 to Realtime. It's not a perfect setup, but it works fine. I'm not using VR, though.

  • I have found out that if you buy one of those new fangled dual GPU laptops like I did (HP Pavilion AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon VEga mobile Gfx 2.10ghz 8gb (5.92 usable) with NVidia GeForce GTX1050 3gb ram)then you might have to go into the NVidia control panel to set it to use the better video card. I do not know why but I suspect it is maybe because of Steam but mine was defaulting to the AMD RAdeon(TM) Vega 8 Graphics all the time. This one takes 2gb from your available ram and would not give me very good frame rates (20 fps around Amsterdam although 75 fps in Lubock TX). Going into the NVidia control panel I was able to change it to the NVidia 1050 3gb card and it now runs my AFS2 at up to 120fps on high setting.

Thank you só o much I will look into this
