Working one minute and now when flying to/from Liverpool or Leeds/Bradford I am getting sometimes as low as 2 FPS! Replay's work fine ... Every other IPACs airport is fine, including the FSPort airports and new Ibiza & Palma airports.
Has there been an update ? Any help would be much appreciated.
Are there any critical errors in the tm.log file?
Hi Jan, Thanks for the quick reply ... Having not used the tm.log file before, after opening it I assumed a CTRL-F *critical* would find these critical errors, if this is the correct way of finding the errors, I could not see any ?
Just look for "ERROR" towards the end of the file.
If there are thousands of entries within quick succession (the text line begins with a time stamp in seconds), then you have a problem that could slow down aerofly.
I always use Liverpool to test out the Apache and have not noticed any frame rate drops, check out Leeds Bradford just now and all seems ok. Is this VR or 2D where you have the problem

Jan, the tm.log has many errors, but none towards the end of the page, more-so in the middle. Is this just errors I had a while back, or does the tm.log write itself with each session in AFS2?
Steve I run AFS2 in 2D, as I have quite a dated GPU. I usually see between 50-60FPS at Liverpool & Leeds/Bradford airports. BTW both are fantastic sceneries.
After a bit of trial and error & process of elimination with removing recent scenery installations, I think I have found the issue. If I remove the Palma scenery, Liverpool & Leeds/Bradford jump back to 50-60FPS.
The tm.log file is created when aerofly starts and as long as aerofly is running it keeps adding on to it.
Ideally there are no ERROR messages at all. But when user sceneries are not loaded correctly there are log entries to aid the scenery developer.
