So, when do us lowly non-steam users get this update?
Rick
May I ask what changed in the two minor updates on October 16th, I don’t seem to find the release notes, thank you
Checked and our dutch windmills are in the right position again.
Thanks for the quick solution!
Hi Jan,
I flew between Denver and Eagle using the A320 and noticed something that might be useful:
As I already knew that the TOC and TOD were wrong (as shown in the ND at the beginning), I calculated the TOD manually, that simple count (FL * 3) / 100, which gave me about 45 nm considering the elevation of the aerodrome .
Well, I passed the wrong TOD shown in the ND and when it got close to 45 nm, to my surprise PFD showed the DESACELERATE and I commanded the descent through the AP vertical navigation mode. The aircraft followed the descent perfectly.
That is, the TOD is being shown wrong in the ND, but it is correct somewhere else for the AP and PFD.
I hope I have been helpful.
EDIT: Forget that above. I think it was out of date.
I did the reverse route and everything worked correctly. 😉👍
Hello friends,
Yesterday I flew with the 777-300ER (great job from iPacs, by the way).
The flight was between Denver and Salt Lake City. The simulator suggested level 410. I tried to fly at that level but in my view it was not good.
- The angle of attack was too high, At FL390 was better.
- The power in CON mode is less than in CLB (is this normal in real?).
- CRZ power mode is unable to maintain the aircraft at a high level.
In addition, this is very good, apart from the TOD indicator in the ND very far from ideal.
I hope the information is useful.
Take care,
Cristiano de Sá
Still not available for DVD purchasers? I feel a bit ripped off. I paid for the sim just like everyone else as have all DVD based/Download users NOT on Steam and we have to wait an extended time for updates.
What gives?

Are there any particular reasons why you’re not using Steam?
You could request the Steam version which is available. Just send the team a short email with your original receipt or proof of purchase.
I do not use steam at all. I prefer using VR through the Oculus runtime.

A preliminary update for DVD users is available here . If you all could report back to us if the update works on your side we would appreciate it and it would accelerate the official release of this update.
The update is now available on our official support website right here.

This is working at the only condition you have guessed the good cruise altitude that the simulator has got in its mind.
DECELERATE could appear far before the calculated T/D, then vanish. And it is displayed again near the calculated T/D.
I did that way too until an update comes saving my life . I also hope that the update would autofill or double-click-fill the FL CRZ in the MCDU by the value in mind (this is for Jet-Pack (IPACS) , thank you).
This tip will completely fail for a Denver/Aspen without SID or STAR or APPR, no waypoints between. The plane will dive into the mountains .
I was very happy to see, that the DVD version is available now as beta. But when I try to install it, it tells me, that there is no installation of AeroflyFS2, But the previous program is running without problems and updated. Installation is on my drive D:
Any idea what's going wrong?
Urs
@Alpin-Flier: The update installer looks for the installation folder in the registry. If you manually copied the Aerofly FS 2 folder after installation, the update installer will not locate this moved folder.
Ok, it seems, that I have moved the folder manually to E:, because I have a separate drive for flight sims. I started a new setup.
Now I see, that the installer does not ask where to install and chooses C:. Is there a way to install to another drive than C: ?

I can confirm this had downloaded and installed okay for me. Not tried a flight, but confirm the new 135 is there
Thanks for posting!
After a new installation of the original program on C: it was no problem to install the update on my place. Welcome EC135!
Thank you very much for this excellent sim and your help.
Urs
Been away, great to see the EC135!
Small issue I noticed: In replay the tail rotor hub goes walkabout... at first I thought it was a small midge on my monitor, but no...
