does cold and dark mean no engines running also? Especially for the 777 which i prefer to fly
Cold and dark

Currently the A320 is the only commercial jet that is cold and dark. Yes, engines off. Everything off.
On the top of my head these are the planes.
King Air
Cessna
Q400
A320
EC145 (new)
Beechcraft
A couple more.

thank you for the info

I hope that I could choose cold & dark for the A320. But, I also hope that the MCDU will be preset anyway (flight plan already input). An easy cold & dark in some ways! Cheers

Sorting out the long broken big Boeing ADFs is just as important, more so for the actual flying.

Hiiii goood news.
Yes, you’d select the aircraft, select a spawn (gate or stand), and your be presented with having the plane cold and start, electric on, full on with engines running.
Yes, the flight plan is already set if you use the NAVIGATION UI. No manual input unless you want to.

just some remarks:
cold & dark works on the A320 (Steam Beta), but the lights on the overhead seem not to work yet, at least in my installation.
I do follow the startup procedure and get the engines running, I just do not get any „feedback“ thru the overhead panel lights.
I guess, if its not only me, it will be solved in one of the next updates
