impossible to fly at night....they show but don’t reflect anything

aerofly needs lights that illuminate the ground

100%

Totally

Yeah but imagine the game having to render all those lights at night... The mobile would literally die. Maybe some lights from the main streets or something like that or at least more light coming from the 3D buildings

nah it would just be great to have lights from the airplane the illuminate the ground with it

Totally agree with it. The light on the planes now are completely useless
-
Yes. The panels at night are beautiful to see. If we have functional landing lights, it would be a lot of fun to fly at night, and also lights in all cities (as Denver has).
-
The mobile would literally die.
That's literally the only even mildly plausible reason I've ever come up with to explain the strange reticence to implement it all of these years. Except of course, X-plane mobile does it just fine.

Flying without landing lights is perfectly possible, it is part of real world training. Do you think a landing light bulb failing is a deadly fault?

Ok. But Aerofly is not Insany Flight. I’m sure they are able to make it on mobile even

Do you think a landing light bulb failing is a deadly fault?
I never mentioned it

If you have the South Florida DLC, you might want to try this free tower lights + traffic lights add-on that enhances the night flying for that DLC ...

Wow it looks great!

Then let’s rename Aerofly FS to “Broken light emergency training FS”.

hahahaha 😂😂

It puzzles me why, after so many years, night lights reflecting other objects haven't been implemented. It's a shame because the night lights in the cockpits are great.

I vaguely remember seeing a post a year or two ago that said the FS2 graphics engine only handles 1 point source of light/illumination (sun or moon).

Anyone here done much night flying? To me this seems trivial.

I fly at night all the time. I just don't feel like I can safely land. And that's been for years., So no, I don't do it as much as I would like, anymore.

Please, give us some light...A giant step for this sim. Thank you.
