Is it possible to illuminate an airport wind sock at night? How would I do it.

    Thanks

I believe so - I vaguely remember that buildings have 2 color texture files (ttx). One is the daytime appearance and the other is the nighttime appearance. You could do the same thing with a 3D wind sock object.

Look for a How-To YouTube video from ZoSoChile - you basically copy the daytime ttx file and rename it to something like _color.ttx or _night.ttx and then save the 3D model with both.
