Clicking sound only when flying with copilot? Or always?
Clicking sound happens randomly when I am flying. I have never used the copilot. This has also happened in 2019. I can't tell where it's coming from in the cockpit location-wise. I just close the app and open it again, the clicking usually goes away by then.

Is it what I encounter?
My iPad has a default, it generates itself clicks. It's very rare today (I think Apple has hidden this problem with updates by ignoring single pixel touches because a finger touches many pixel so 1 piwel has to be ignored).
Well in Aerofly I can hear button clicks, or suddenly a little flag appear in the map as if I had touched it. But this problem appears everywhere in iOS.
Today it is very very rare, but when it happens I'd say there are 5 clicks within minutes.

Re: static Cessna in the air. It was a bit difficult to position myself for a good shot at this. It looks far away, but the static propeller (it is of course in the image) and missing wheels are also aparrent (or not) when a bit closer. You can easily check this at the Monument Valley Airstrip. There are three Cessnas just making "Platzrunden" all the time. You can also see that they fly right through the mountain on approach from south.
When computer traffic is 'far away' we use a simplified 3D model to improve performance, so what you see is ok, it is not a bug.

I checked the "cloud issue" again. I still think the 2021 version is either more demanding in general and clouds make for a very significant factor, or clouds themselves take more resources. I tried with an F15 from Travis AirForce Base, cumulus cloud density and altitude max, flew to and through them. In 2020, performance dropped only a bit. in 2021 very significantly, most noticable when turning the plane or panning the view.
It's equally bad with max cloud densiy but lowest height, taking of with the EC135 from SFO hospital, in both versions.
OS 14.2 15 mins limited frame rates gave 100% battery down to 66%.
OS 14.3 15 mins limited frame rates gave 100% battery down to 98%.
Both were 2021, connected to the charger.
The iPadOS change seems to make a big difference.
And about the Phoenix scenery in FS2021:
a) Phoenix’s terrrain seems to be modelled better
b) the city and 3D buildings in Phoenix are gone when they were in AF2020
c) Tucson and Davis monthan AFB are really well detailed airports, but the terrain again is still really low-quality

Gates and other things like airport stand traffic are only visible according to your device ability to show them. I have an iPad 6th Gen (2018) with no gates but if I use my iPhone 11 all gates and more is visible in the app. Getting a new iPad!
Does it come to a update to show for all devices?@ipacs?

But there is a problem with creating routes in the FMC. When selecting airports, I have to be at that airport. Otherwise it says “NOT IN DATABASE “.

Looks like that after update the phone is cooler than before and battery consumption is more limited. Good work! And thank you!
