from where to buy aerofly fs 2?

hi everybody,

i would like to ask your opinion from where to buy the aerofly fs 2? from steam? or from another online reseller (aerosoft, store.flightsim.com etc)?

i am worrying if the steam version is locked somehow and i cannot use addons bought from other developers like orbx or free community addons.

i would be happy to hear your experiences.

Steam is just a delivery service. It installs Steam in a different location, but you can still add your purchases. I moved my purchases to my Onedrive folder just to keep them backed up and they work just fine from there. I have freeware and purchases added to my Steam installation no problem.

We can highly recommend the steam version. All updates are managed for you and it is very easy to install additional content (DLCs). It's easy to re-install or to install it on a second device as well.

User made aircraft and scenery are installed exactly the same on the DVD version or for the steam version but this has to be performed manually.
