France VFR Paris - Ile de France VFR AIRPORT Pack now available on Steam

    France VFR Paris - Ile de France VFR AIRPORT Pack is now available on Steam for download as an extension to the Aerofly FS 2 - France VFR - Paris-Ile-de-France DLC.


    This pack includes 11 photo-detailed general aviation airfields dispatched over the Ile-de-France regional scenery for more challenging and exciting VFR circumnavigations while discovering the green and bucolic countryside of Paris:

    3. LFFQ La Ferté Alais
    4. LFPE Meaux Esbly
    5. LFPF Beynes Thiverval
    6. LFPH Chelles Le Pin
    7. LFPK Coulommiers Voisins
    8. LFPQ Fontenay Trésigny
    9. LFPU Moret Episy
    10. LFPX Chavenay Villepreux
    11. LFXU Les Mureaux



    • Ground textures are based on 0.25 to 0.50 meter/pixel resolution IGN aerial photography reworked for optimal integration in the scenery.
    • Detailed 3D modelling of buildings and hangars
    • Hundreds of objects hand placed from own libraries
    • Geo-referenced data for maximum compatibility with future add-ons installed on the same area
    • All visual approach charts and AD information provided in the documentation


    Make sure to first update Aerofly FS 2 - France VFR - Paris-Ile-de-France DLC to the V2.0 :

    - Steam version owners : update should have been automatically done by Steam last December.

    - Other sales channels please contact FranceVFR for your free update.

    aber warum wurde nichts am Flughafen Paris Charles de Gaulle gemacht,und bei denn anderen Paris groß Fluhäfen???


    Ich hoffe da kommt noch ein Update?????

    As explained, Paris large airports like CDG are out of scope of this general aviation, VFR-oriented product.


    A textured, "taxiable" ground polygon was however designed, with 3D buildings, jetways, and some static aircraft plus various objects were placed to enable using the airport for those who really want to land there, but it is by far not a detailed airport and therefore provided for free...

    Moreover, the ground polygon has trouble flattening the elevation mesh on some parts of the airport, it seems to be a limitation of the technology with those multi-level platforms...
