how can i hide these controls completely, i have fully set up keys for these functions, now they are redundant

You can go to game folder Documents > Aerofly FS2 folder > main.mcf open this file with Notepad ++ search for "Fade_controls" and change from "false" to "true"!
Note: Be careful to not misconfigure other things, make a Backup at your own risk.
They won't disappear completely when you click on the screen they reappear and disappear again
Tip: In the same file search for "Virtual Controls Transparencies" and adjust so that it is less visible! -

thank you for it's a great idea, but i don't want to edit outside of the game, i respect the developer, hope they will allow hiding the controls in the settings in the future

Using a keyboard and mouse to control aircraft in this flight simulator is not a good idea, this is made to be used with joysticks and throttle quadrants, so just buy one of those and then when you connect it, then these on screen controls will disappear.

Yes, you are right.. But, if anyone can't afford those for any reason then the solution is to get VJOYSTICK installed in his/her PC. By this they can get the feel of Yoke through their Mouse.

2. How to use it, he/she can visit YouTube for it and if unable to figure out I will help
Hope this helps for those who currently don't have a Yoke. I personally used it for 5+ months until I bought a Yoke and it's really helpful and easy to use.

actually i don't have the funds to own throttle or joysticks, those are very expensive in my country

The very cheapest joystick should work well, I do not use a sophisticated one.

No, the control icons will still be visible on screen but with some quite changes. But, no worries you can easily make it hide by the process that was mentioned by Sir Lucas Bravo in this thread
