Hi. There is no use. The fact, I never ever felt the need to use it. I even don’t know if it works. Probably yes.
The application is perfectly well designed for touch usages.
For for Affinity Photo or Designer, the Apple Pencil is gorgeous
I’ve just tried the Apple Pencil with Aerofly FS 2021. It works. But it is worse to click a button and turn it with the pencil than with the finger. And I don’t talk about pitch to zoom.
And the feeling is greater to push buttons with your finger.
No I don't think using a stylus is worth for afs (no significant use in it)
Pens are for graphic design not flight simulators. You won't use if on Aerofly.
No to the Pencil, but an M1 iPad Pro would be awesome!

When using my iPad I use a pen all the time for this flight sim. I find I can make much smaller inputs with the stylus then my fingers or thumbs I still use fingers for switches etc I use the pen mainly for the yoke. I also have the PC version and use the mobile for short flights
